Vassar College sophomore guard Alex Seff propelled Vassar to a 3-0 week (the team's best start since 2008-09). In the Brewers' 71-65, opening day win over New Paltz, Seff poured in 34 points and 12 rebounds, moving into the No. 2 spot in program history for most points scored in a single game. Seff continued to dominate during Vassar's 88-72 win over Keuka College in the first round of the Tip-Off Tournament, totaling a game-high 20 points with four three-pointers. Then in Saturday's, 69-65, tournament-winning victory over Lehman College, Seff added 10 points and four assists, as five Brewers notched double-digit scoring. Through three games, Seff leads the Brewers with 21.3 points per game and 16 total rebounds.
