Hobart College junior wide reciever Brandon Shed broke or tied five Hobart records on Saturday, while leading the Statesmen to a 34-18 upset of No. 13 St. Lawrence. He recorded 12 receptions for 241 yards and two touchdowns, tying the record for receptions in a game while eclipsing the single game yards mark by 2. Shed also raised his season totals to a league best 65 receptions for 1,109 yards, and 15 touchdowns. All three numbers are new Hobart standards, breaking the previous marks of 63-1,029-14. Shed's first touchdown was a 58-yarder that gave Hobart a 7-3 lead and his second from 4 yards out gave the Statesmen a 13-7 lead that they did not relinquish.
