RPI freshmen Zack Ebenfeld and Sebastian Castillo-Sanchez captured the USTA/ITA Northeast Region doubles title by going 5-0 in the field of 32 doubles teams. Ebenfeld and Castillo-Sanchez, who earned All-America honors in the process, will now compete at the USTA/ITA Small College Championships against the winners of the other regional tournaments. The duo captured the title by defeating William Persson/David Schulz (Stevens) 8-2; Masaru Fujimaki/Sahaj Somani (Rochester) 8-4; Michael Gardiner/Minos Stavrakas (Ithaca) 8-3; Kyle Henry/Kyle Cenderelli (Stevens) 8-6; and Danny Polk/Michael Feldman (Stevens) 6-4, 3-6, 6-2 in the final.
