RPI freshman Allie Kallish turned in a strong performance at her first ITA Northeast Regional tournament. Kallish went 4-1 in singles play, advancing to the tournament semifinals. She defeated  Darby McCall (Rochester) 6-2, 6-1; Shayna Becker (Vassar) 6-2, 6-1; Ada Wiggins (Skidmore) 1-6, 6-1, 6-3; and Renee Karchere-Sun (Skidmore) 6-4, 6-2 before falling to Sarah Mensah (Brockport) 6-1, 1-6, 7-6 in a closely contested semifinal. Kallish, along with teammate Melanie Frank, also advanced to the doubles quarterfinals before falling to the eventual champions from TCNJ.
