RIT senior Erin LaFave won her first race since the 2008 season, taking first at the Brockport Invitational on Saturday. LaFave used a strong late kick to oust Vanessa Martell by 73 one-hundredths of a second with a time of 23:31.03, defeating 37 other runners.
