RIT senior Matt Hossack was named the Liberty League Tournament MVP for the second straight season as he led the Tigers to their fifth straight Liberty League title. In two games, Hossack tallied six points on two goals and four assists, he won 8-of-11 face-offs, caused three turnovers and grabbed 18 ground balls, while helping RIT's defense hold Union to nine goals and RPI to 5.
On Friday, Hossack tallied two goals, dished out three assists, caused two turnovers, won 7-of-9 draws and scooped up nine ground balls in a 21-9 win over Union in the semifinals. He followed that up on Sunday, in the championship, with an assist, nine ground balls, one caused turnover and he was 1-of-2 face-offs in a 15-5 win over RPI.
