Vassar College senior Daniel Cooper moved up to No. 1 and earned a hard-fought 6-4, 2-6, 6-4 win over Kevin Wang of MIT. Cooper also lost a close match to Ryan Bunis of Brandeis at the top spot, falling in a third-set super breaker, 4-6, 6-3, 10-5.
