In RPI's lone meet of the week, freshman Grant O'Connor finished second in the 1,500 meters with a time of 3:56.29. He defeated 23 other competitors while finishing second to only teammate Ben Fazio who recorded a winning time of 3:54.29. As a team, the Engineers finished second behind MIT and ahead of Bates and Tufts.
