RPI junior goalie David Gibbs backstopped the Engineers to a pair of wins last week, allowing no more than six goals in either game. In addition to his 2-0 record, he had a 6.29 goals against average and a .542 save percentage, stopping 13 of the 24 shots he faced in 105:00. In a 9-6 win at Plattsburgh State, he had 11 saves on 17 shots with four ground balls in 60 minutes. Gibbs then played 45 minutes of a 17-5 win over Vassar, making two saves on seven shots faced.
