University of Rochester freshman Emily Friedline was named Liberty League Rookie of the Year following her performance at the 2011 Liberty League Swimming & Diving Championships. Friedline won the 400 individual medley, with a time of 4:37.72. That was a Rochester record and also a Liberty League record. She also won the 200 IM race with a time of 2:11.00.
