In the Utica College Pioneer Invitational, RPI freshman Jillian Salkind won the high jump with a height of 1.58 meters, besting 18 other competitors. The runner-up had a maximum effort of 1.55 meters. Salkind also competed in the long jump, finishing 13th of 25 with a distance of 4.83 meters.
