RPI freshman guard Sam Krumbhaar averaged a team-best 17.5 points per game, along with 5.0 rebounds, in 25.0 minutes. She also had five assists, a block, two steals and only one turnover as RPI posted a 1-1 record. In a 65-49 win at Bard, she led the team with 16 points, three assists and two steals, along with five rebounds and no turnovers in 24 minutes. She then scored 19 points, again a team-high, with five rebounds and two assists in an 88-74 loss to Vassar.
