Vassar College freshman Sammy Stone posted three individual wins at the Seven Sisters Championships. Stone was one of just two swimmers to tally three or more individual victories, winning the 100, 200 and 500-yard freestyle events. Saturday, Stone started the day with a 5:10.46 in the 500-free to earn her first win, posting a six-second difference between first and second. Stone was up next again in the 200-free and also earned first, as she was over three seconds faster than the runner up with a time of 1:55.25, setting a new Seven Sisters Championship record. Stone later helped the Vassar 800-free relay to a second-place finish, as the Brewers swam a 8:05.88. On Sunday, Stone had a runner-up finish in the mile, swimming a 17:49.65. Just two events later after the grueling 1,650 swim, she was back in the pool to win the 100-free in a season-best time of 54.98. Stone finished her weekend by helping Vassar to a third-place spot in the 400-free relay, as VC swam a 3:45.33.
