William Smith College freshman forward Mia Morrison averaged a team-high 17.0 points per game, 10.5 rebounds per game, 3.0 assists per game, 2.5 steals per game, and 1.5 blocks per game as the Herons began Liberty League play with a pair of road victories. In a 74-73 win at RPI on Saturday, she logged a game-high 22 points and grabbed 11 rebounds. Morrison also had four assist, three steals, and two blocked shots against the Engineers. The following afternoon at defending league champion Skidmore, she posted another double-double on 12 points and 10 boards. Through 10 games, Morrison leads William Smith in scoring, steals, and blocked shots and is second in rebounding.
