Vassar College senior Caroline Shannon won three events in a narrow 153-146 loss to New Paltz. Shannon positioned Vassar for victory with a win in the 400 IM (2:47.53) in the second to last race. She added wins in the 100-yard breaststroke (1:11.56) and the 200-yard breaststroke (2:31.99).
