RPI freshman forward Andreas Kontopidis was named to the Hilbert College Tip-Off Tournament All-Tournament team after leading the Engineers into the championship game. In the two games, he averaged a team-best 18.5 points on 70.0% shooting (14 of 20) with 1.5 rebounds, two assists, two blocks and a steal while averaging 19.5 minutes off the bench. He had a game-high 24 points on 9 of 12 shooting with three rebounds, an assist and two steals in 18 minutes of an 81-48 win over Utica in the opening round. Andreas then had 13 points on 5 of 8 shooting with an assist and a steal in 21 minutes of an 88-71 loss to Hilbert in the championship game.
