RPI freshman Amanda Wang led the Engineers to a 2-0 week by compiling the most points on the team (73). She swam in eight events and had seven firsts and a second. In a 188.5-111.5 win over Vassar, Wang won all four events, coming in first in the 200 medley relay (1:52.13), 100 backstroke (59.89), 200 backstroke (2:10.83) and 400 free relay (3:43.80). In a 190-103 win at Hartwick the next afternoon, Amanda won a pair of individual events, touching the wall first in the 100 backstroke (59.68) and 200 back (2:09.57) while finishing second in the 100 fly (1:01.21) and helping the 200 free relay team to victory (1:42.66).
