William Smith College sophomore Hannah Wood notched five goals in a 2-0 week for the Herons. On Wednesday, against Rochester, she scored in the 21st minute to tie the game 1-1. Wood blasted a shot past the goalie off a penalty corner. Against 19th-ranked New Paltz on Saturday, Wood scored all four goals, a career-high, as the Herons cruised to a 4-1 victory. She ignited the offense scoring two goals 34 seconds apart in the first half and then she added two more in the second half to pace the team. The four goals tie a William Smith single-game record for goals in a game.
