In a 27-7 win over Merchant Marine Academy, RPI senior quarterback Jeff Avery completed 23 of 30 passes for 382 yards and three touchdowns. He connected with classmate Logan Gaddar on scoring strikes of 11 yards (2nd quarter), 33 yards (3rd quarter) and 17 yards (4th quarter). He was sacked only once and did not throw an interception.
