William Smith College freshman Alex Greenberg made a semifinal run in B Flight Singles in her collegiate debut for the Herons at the 2015 Mary Hosking Invitational. On Saturday, she won her first collegiate match 8-5, defeating Nazareth's Marisa Joyce 8-5. In the quarterfinals, she cruised to an 8-2 victory of St. Lawrence's Laramie McHugh. In the semifinals on Sunday, she pushed eventual flight champion Mai Hashimoto for the entire match, falling 9-7. In A Flight Doubles she teamed with fellow first-year Sydney Ferry to win their first round match 8-2.
