William Smith College junior forward Alessandra Patrizio notched six goals in a 2-0 week for the Herons. On Wednesday, she tied a William Smith single-game record, scoring four goals in a 6-2 win over Geneseo. Patrizio's first two goals came off of assists from sophomore Hannah Wood in the first half.The first goal tied the game at 1-1 and came on a crossing pass from Wood. Later in the half, Patrizo got her stick on Wood's shot from the top of the arc off of a penalty corner to give the Herons a 3-1 lead. Patrizio completed her first career hat track just over five minutes into the second half. She then netted the natural hat trick on her fourth goal of the game. In Saturday's 5-1 win over Oneonta, Patrizio scored two unassisted goals. She currently leads the team with nine goals.
