William Smith College sophomore Hannah Wood registered 10 points on four goals and two assists in a 2-0 week for the Herons. On Tuesday, against Oswego, she scored two second-half goals to give William Smith the final margin. On both goals, she collected her own rebound off the goalie's pads and fired home the loose ball. Wood's assist came on the Herons first goal of the season. In Saturday's overtime win over seventh-ranked Ursinus, Wood also recorded five points. At 16:46 of the first half she fired a low laser shot past the Ursinus goalie to give William Smith a 2-0 lead at the time. With less than ten minutes remaining in the game, Wood tucked a shot just inside the left post to tie the game at four and send the contest into overtime. In the extra session, she sent a crossing pass to Alessandra Patizio to set up the game-winning goal to complete the upset.
