St. Lawrence University senior Divya Biswal opened the 2015 NCAA Track & Field Championships as the national champion in the long jump as she jumped 5.95 meters, improving her own St. Lawrence record by .04 meters to win the event. Biswal's jump in the second flight good enough to win it with a jump at 5.88 meters but on her second attempt, she hit the winning mark of 5.95 meters. In the triple jump, she reached 12.49 meters on her second jump of the preliminary round, to take second place in the event earning All-America honors in two of her three events at the championship. Biswal also finished in 14^th place in the 100 meter hurdles with a time of 14.99 in the preliminaries. The senior has captured All-America honors in nine consecutive NCAA events as she closes her career at St. Lawrence.
