RPI junior Tyler Yeastedt competed in two meets over the weekend. On Friday, he crossed the river to compete in the hammer throw at UAlbany, where he finished third overall with a toss of 55.73m, putting him first among Division III competitors. On Saturday, he set a facility and meet record in the discus at Oneonta with a winning throw of 50.18m. He also finished third in the hammer (59.05m), fifth in the shot put (14.47m), and sixth in the javelin (45.55m) at the Oneonta meet.
