Union went 5-1 behind sophomore Jake Fishman's .591 (13-for-22) batting average last week. He raised his average to a Division III leading .532 with his 13 hits. Fishman added five runs, five RBI, two stolen bases, two walks, two doubles and one triple. He led the team with 17 total bases and a .625 on-base percentage and was second on the team with a .773 slugging percentage. In addition to his batting stats, he added a complete game one-hit shutout in Union's 5-0 win over St. Lawrence. He allowed just three balls to leave the infield in his seven innings of work and punched out three batters. It was his fifth complete-game on the season and second shutout.
