William Smith College sophomore attack Alexandra Bird led the Herons with 14 points in a 2-0 week in Clearwater, Florida. Bird logged a total of 12 goals and two assists and added a ground ball and five draws in the Herons' two victories. In a 15-8 win over Connecticut College, Bird tallied seven goals, matching the second highest total in a game in William Smith history. She added an assist, a ground ball, and won a team-high three draws. Against Denison (a 17-15 victory), Bird notched five first half goals as well as an assist and two draws. Bird leads William Smith with 21 points this season on 18 goals and three assists. She has a total of five ground balls, 12 draws and three caused turnovers.
