Skidmore College senior guard Molly McLaughlin was selected as the Most Valuable Player of the 2015 Liberty League women's basketball championship. McLaughlin totaled 39 points, eight rebounds and seven assists in the two games, leading the Thoroughbreds to their first Liberty League title. In the championship game at top-seeded St. Lawrence, McLaughlin scored a game-high 21 points, including seven in the decisive second overtime period while playing with four fouls as Skidmore earned a 67-62 double-overtime victory. She also had 18 points against Clarkson in the semifinals.
