Vassar College freshman Strand had a part in two school records at the UNYSCSA Championships, helping both the 200 yard medley (1:36.38) and 400 yard medley (3:31.59) squads set new program best marks. Individually, he posted lifetime-bests in the 200 breast A final (2:10.61), 100 breast B final (1:00.33) and 200 IM (2:00.07) to round out a spectacular week at the meet.
