Senior back Alyse DiCenzo was named the Liberty League Tournament MVP after leading the William Smith defense to shutouts of St. Lawrence and Skidmore in the Liberty League Tournament. She led the Heron defense that did not allow a shot on goal in a 4-0 win over St. Lawrence in a semifinal game. The Herons allowed just one shot on goal in a 3-0 win over Skidmore to win the tournament title. DiCenzo saved that shot from going into the goal, and preserved the shutout for the Herons.
