RIT senior Matt Giannino crushed a 21-year old school record in the 5,000-meter run, at the Division I John Thomas Terrier Classic hosted by Boston University on Saturday. Giannino finished with a time of 14:15.85, besting RIT Hall of Famer Kevin Collins' school record of 14:28.66 set in 1994. It is the fastest time in Division III this season and among the top-15 fastest times in Division III history.
