William Smith College junior Emily D'Addario finished third out of 276 runners at the ECAC Division III Women's Cross Country Championship on Saturday. Her third place finish matched the best finish by a William Smith runner at the event. D'Addario completed the 6-kilometer in 22:41.13. Amy Young recorded third place finishes for William Smith at the ECAC Championship in both 1999 and 2001. D'Addario has been the first William Smith runner to cross the finish line in every race this year. She helped the Herons to a 12th-place team finish, which matches the third-best finish at the event for the Herons in program history.
