The Hobart novice eight earned a bronze medal at the Syracuse Invitational on Saturday. The Statesmen covered the 3-mile course in 17:19.9. Only Cornell B and Syracuse A bested Hobart in the 11 boat field. The novice eight was powered by Nick Snow, Robert McNamara, Owen Monahan, W. Hunter Holtz, Nicholas Baca, Chris Troy, Nick Hindle, Nick Faiello, and Joe Biesemeyer.
