RPI freshman Shanny Lin opened her collegiate career by winning four events, setting two school records, one pool record, and making an NCAA B cut time. Lin set a new school and pool record in the 200 butterfly, finishing in an NCAA B cut time of 2:06.36. She then set her second school record of the day in the 100 fly, touching the wall in 57.47. The freshman also won the 200 backstroke in 2:14.77, and was a member of the 400 medley relay team that was victorious in a time of 4:08.96.
