University of Rochester junior Neil Cordell and sophomore Mario Yanez Tapia captured the US Squash Intercollegiate Chamionships title with a four game victory over Navy's James and Billy Kacergis. In the finals, Cordell and Yanez won 15-10, 10-15, 15-7 and 15-11 after defeating UR teammates Michelangelo Bertocchi and Christian Reidelsheimer in the semifinals in four games. In the quarterfinals, the UR team rallied from down 2-1 to take the final two games 16-14 and 15-10. Cordell and Yanez also won their first round match over a tough Princeton squad in four games.
