The Hobart Novice 8 won their event at the Head of the Genesee for the second year in a row. Mitchell Sklar, Josh Bilchik, Ben Robinson, Charlie Verni, James Davis, Robert Hooper, Alex Garrison, Jonathan Pusey and Anthony Giovenneli powered the boat to a winning time of 16:34.85. Hobart finished the race more than 48 seconds faster than runner-up RIT.
