Vassar College seniors Samatha Schapiro and Ava Sadeghi advanced to the doubles final of the USTA/ITA Northeast Championship over the weekend, finishing 4-1 as a pair for the tournament. Schapiro and Sadeghi dropped a hard fought three-set decision to Laila El Dessouki and Carmen Lai of NYU in the final, 6-2, 3-6, 6-3
