William Smith College Hannah Wood tallied five goals in a 2-1 week for William Smith. In Wednesday's 5-0 victory over Nazareth, she notched her first career hat trick. In the 57th minute, she collected a rebound in front and fired a shot past the goalie to give the Herons a 3-0 lead. Just over two minutes later, she collected a pass from Alessandra Patrizio and ripped a shot into the net. Wood completed the natural hat trick in the 64th minute. She collected a rebound off the post and beat the goalie to give William Smith a 5-0 lead. In Saturday's 4-1 win over Manhattanville, Wood added two more goals. At the 23 minute mark, she redirected a Patrizio shot into the goal for what would turn out to be the game winner. In the second half, Wood scored off a penalty corner for her second goal of the game. Wood leads the team with 21 points.
