Freshman Alyssa Poentis helped NYU to a first-place finish out of nine teams at the St. Lawrence Invitational. Poentis tied for first out of 42 golfers, shooting a two-day 153 (77-76). She tied for the fifth-lowest 36-hole tournament score in program history. Poentis led NYU to its lowest 36-hole tournament score in program history (625). The Violets also had the lowest single-round score in program history (306) on day two.
