Union College senior running back Darnel Thomas rushed 21 times for a career high 169 yards in the 21-16 opening loss at No. 23 Ithaca. Thomas had touchdown runs of one and a career-long 82 yards. The long run made it 21-16 with 7:45 left. It was the fourth career 100-yard rushing game for Thomas.
