Union freshman Kent Curran collected seven RBIs and pitched six effective innings for the Dutchmen over five games last week. The freshman's best game came in the final game of the regular season where he collected four runs batted while going 4-4 from the plate. Curran collected seven hits (.350 average), five runs scored and one walk in addition to the seven RBIs over the five games. Curran pitched 6.2 innings in a 7-6 win over Williams on Wednesday. He surrendered five runs, three of them earned but left the game before the Dutchmen claimed the lead. HE struck on three batters and allowed just six hits.
