Rochester freshman Matt van Niekerk earned the biggest win of the day for Rochester on Saturday during the semifinals of the Liberty League match play championship. He was a 5&4 winner over his Clarkson opponent, securing the first match point of UR's 3-1 win. On Sunday in the final, the freshman dropped his match to his Skidmore opponent.
