The Herons went 3-2 against nationally ranked crews this weekend. On Sunday, William Smith finished first out of five crews with a time of 6:55.2. No. 8 Tufts was second, 4.68 seconds behind, and No. 9 WPI finished third, 9.11 seconds off the pace. Clark and Skidmore rounded out the field. On Saturday, the Herons were third out of six crews, trailing No. 1 Trinity and No. 7 Ithaca while beating No. 15 Colby, Connecticut College and New Hampshire. The William Smith varsity eight was powered by Emily Davidowitz, Katie Paige, Sinead Reilly, Lauren Blake-Whitney, Caroline DeWeirdt, Aly Clark, Emma Dow, Alyssa Trebilcock, and Libby Hughes.
