Vassar freshman Adam Erkis had a solid introduction to Liberty League baseball, as he tossed 8.1 innings over two appearances, allowing no earned runs and just six hits. Against Skidmore on Wednesday, April 2, Erkis came out of the pen and worked two perfect innings, striking out two. On Saturday, April 5, Erkis got the start, going 6.1 innings against Clarkson, earning the victory after allowing no earned runs and fanning five Golden Knight batters. He also surrendered just six hits to Clarkson.
