Rochester won its first meet of the season, beating 11th-ranked St. Lawrence and unranked St. John Fisher on Saturday. The 1st Varsity 8 won its race in 6:57.51, a victory of 4.41 seconds over SLU and more than 38 seconds over Fisher. Rochester is ranked #12 in pre-season in Division III.
