Vassar freshman Julia Cunningham started her four-day stay at the UNYSCSA Championships with an eighth place finish in the 200 Medley Relay. The team's time of 1:52.18 broke the Vassar College record. The record fell just before Cunningham took the 200 IM record in a time trial. On day two, she finished third in the 400 IM (4:35.19), fourth in the 100 Fly (57.84) and sixth in the 400 Medley Relay (4:04.29). Cunningham was out-touched to the wall on day three by less than a second as she went on to earn second place in the 200 Fly (2:06.12). She also took sixth in the 800 Free Relay on the day (7:59.29). Cunningham rounded out her four days of swimming with an 11th place finish in the 400 Free Relay (3:43.09).
