At the 2014 BU Valentine Invitational, RPI senior Grace Tilton broke her own school record in the indoor 3,000 meters by 13 seconds with a time of 9:44.44. Of the 123 competitors, Tilton finished 24th overall and first among Division III entrants. Her time in the 3,000 is currently the second-fastest time recorded by a Division III competitor this season.
