Freshman Kara Shue produced two assists last week, helping William Smith win the program’s second National Championship. She assisted on the game-winning goal in the seventh minute in a 1-0 victory over Capital in the national semifinal match. Shue then added an assist on the Herons’ game-winning goal in the 11th minute of a 2-0 win over Trinity in the national championship match. She leads William Smith with 12 assists this season. Shue has chipped in six goals for 24 points in her rookie season.
