Vassar's Julia Cunningham added to her already impressive freshman season in the pool with first place finishes in the 100 and 200 Yard Butterfly and also in the 200 Individual Medley races. Her top race of the day at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute on Saturday was the 100 Fly. Cunningham broke yet another Vassar College record when she swam a 58.96, replacing a 10-year old record of 59.16. In the week prior to the RPI meet, Cunningham broke the 200 Fly record at Vassar which stood for eight years. Cunningham bested swimmers in the 200 Fly by more than eight seconds with her 2:08.31 time. She swam a 2:13.28 in the 200 IM which was 10 seconds faster than anyone else in the pool.
