Senior safety Jolyon Davis played a critical role in Hobart's 42-21 victory at Rochester on Saturday. The Statesmen were outgained 504-376, but prevailed thanks to four takeaways by the Hobart defense. Davis contributed four solo tackles, a forced fumble, and two interceptions on the day. His first pick came on the final play of the first half, as Rochester threw into the end zone trying to tie the game. His second interception came in the third quarter and he returned it 43 yards for a touchdown and a 28-14 Hobart lead.
