William Smith College junior Emily D'Addario finished first out of 126 runners and set a course record at the Cross Country Only Championship on Saturday. She led William Smith to its second straight team title at the event. D'Addario completed the 5-kilometer race with a time of 19:00.64, topping the previous course record by nine seconds. She finished 1:50.26 ahead of the second-place runner. D'Addario has led the Herons across the finish line in every race this year. This is her fourth first place finish this fall, and the third time she has set a course record.
